The Dark Tower

The Dark Tower is a stone structure standing at the center of the multiverse at the crosspoint of the beams in the midst of a field of roses beyond the edge of the End-World.

Overview

Initially, Lord English targeted the Green Sun to siphon off its power in order to become all powerful when in fact it was later realized by the Doctor that English siphoned the power of the Green Sun so he could channel it through the Dark Tower in order to manipulate the space-time continuum to have him exist across all dimensions and a series of events will always lead to his creation. Though he was fortunately stopped by the combined might of the Mystery Kids, their allies, and an army of Dead Alternians during the final battle at the edge of the End-World.

Description

According to the Twelfth Doctor, the Dark Tower acts as the "support beam" that keeps the multiverse itself from collapsing unto itself. Given that the multiverse is basically like a house that the Presence created by hand, the Dark Tower is what keeps this multiversal house intact.

Above the Dark Tower and existing outside of the borders at the same time is the Green Sun which is said to be the source that provides dimensional energies creating a quantum foam which underlies the structure of reality. The interior of the Tower is infinitely larger than its exterior, including a spiral staircase that passes rooms, each of which contains a scene from one's life.
